Hear the roar of cannon, watch military dress parades, listen fife and drum music, participate in family-friendly activities, and so much more! As part of exploring the history of freedom in America, visitors can learn about the history of slavery in Minnesota and the part Fort Snelling played in the great struggle over slavery and freedom during the 1800s.
